Cy (who also goes by the pen name "Cysrite") is a Filipino web-novel author on Wattpad. She started her online writing journey as a teenager and primarily focuses on romantic comedies, slice-of-life drama, and coming-of-age fiction.Her writing style features a heavy mix of Taglish (Tagalog-English) dialogue, casual youth humor, and relatable domestic themes. After publishing her debut book, she took an extended, multi-year hiatus from the platform to focus on her personal life before returning to revive and edit her story.

Lucky comes from a humble family—her father works as a family driver and her mother works as a maid. Despite their financial hardships, she is motivated to study hard and graduate to provide a better life for her family. Her life takes a chaotic turn when she crosses paths with Slade, a wealthy, incredibly handsome, but arrogant and cold young man whom she initially views as a "halimaw" (monster). Due to a twist of circumstances, Lucky ends up working as a maid for him.
